Software Engineer — Full-Stack Developer

I build full-stack web apps end to end, from database models to React interfaces. At Louisa AI I shipped the GitHub integration, workflow APIs and Slack notifications for a release automation platform.

About

Schema to last component.

I'm a full-stack developer who likes owning a feature from the database schema to the last React component.

Outside work I build tools that make software more trustworthy: retrieval bots that cite sources, tests that expose stale coverage, and streams that never silently drop events.

Remote

Contributed to an internal release automation platform that streamlines deployment workflows across engineering teams.

  • Worked on the GitHub integration phase end-to-end, implementing backend services, database models, webhooks and frontend components.
  • Developed APIs to interact with GitHub workflows and enable automated execution and monitoring of deployment processes.
  • Integrated Slack notification systems to provide real-time updates for workflow execution, approvals and failure handling.
  • Shipped full-stack features on a type-safe stack including React, React Flow, TanStack, Hono, Bun and Drizzle ORM.
  • Built compile-time safe client-server contracts via oRPC.

SCM Supply Chain RAG Assistant — Concept renderDrawing of the SCM Supply Chain RAG Assistant retrieval flow

AI / RAG chatbot

SCM Supply Chain RAG Assistant

A retrieval-augmented chatbot built in Flowise that answers questions about a supplier network from supplier performance data and a supply chain governance policy.

  • Indexes 2,000 purchase orders across 116 suppliers with 27 attributes each
  • Gemini 2.5 Flash answers over Pinecone retrieval with Gemini embeddings
  • Compared chunking setups; selected 1000-character chunks for the final build

Drawing of the contextforge ingest, retrieve and abstain pipeline

AI developer tool

contextforge

A self-hostable docs answer bot that answers only from your own docs, cites its sources and abstains when retrieval confidence is too low, logging the question to an admin queue.

  • Hallucination guard abstains when an answer cites a chunk that was never retrieved
  • Offline eval harness with a 30-case golden dataset for accuracy and hallucination rate
  • Embeddable one-script widget plus streaming chat API
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js

Drawing of the pulseboard-ops event ingestion, rules and alerts flow

Monitoring platform

pulseboard-ops

A lightweight, self-hosted incident radar that ingests Stripe, GitHub and custom events, evaluates them against rules and pushes alerts to a live dashboard, Slack and email.

  • Three signature-verified ingestion paths plus a custom event SDK
  • Rule engine with pattern, threshold and spike conditions and cooldowns
  • Redis-backed per-key rate limiting and role-based multi-tenant auth

Drawing of the Enterprise Employee Portal tiers and delivery pipeline

Enterprise web app

Enterprise Employee Portal

An HR self-service portal for leave, timesheets, documents and the org chart, with two-stage leave approval enforced in the API and a CI/CD pipeline gated on API contract tests.

  • JWT sessions with 15-minute access tokens and rotating 7-day refresh tokens
  • Four roles with route-level and row-level permission checks
  • MySQL schema of 15 tables; org chart resolved by a recursive CTE

Drawing of the traceboard requirements, tests and coverage states

Quality tooling

traceboard

A requirements traceability tool that links requirements, tests, code and defects, and flags stale coverage where a test still passes against a requirement that has since changed.

  • Four coverage states: covered, stale-covered, failing and uncovered
  • Demo exposes the gap between 57% reported and 29% true coverage
  • Immutable requirement versions and Markdown audit packs
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • SQLite
  • GitHub Actions
Drawing of the resumable replay buffer and Last-Event-ID resume flow

Real-time infrastructure

resumable

Server-sent events with a real Last-Event-ID contract over a bounded replay buffer and an explicit gap signal, so reconnecting clients never silently skip events.

  • Delivered all 24,540 events with 0 lost across 1,000 simulated reconnects
  • Explicit GAP outcome reports missed events and a snapshot to rebase on
  • Suite of 20 tests covering ordering, duplicates and off-by-one edges
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • Server-Sent Events
  • GitHub Pages
Drawing of the tokenforge design-token pipeline and contrast gate

Developer tools

tokenforge

One design-token JSON source forged into a Tailwind theme, CSS variables for light, dark and high-contrast modes, and a typed TypeScript module, with a WCAG contrast gate for CI.

  • Contrast check exits non-zero when a declared pair misses its WCAG level
  • Drift detector reports added, removed and changed token values
  • Covered by a Vitest suite of 104 tests
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind
  • CSS
  • Zod

More on GitHub

The wider workbench.

  • Sessionprops

Session security expressed as invariants and checked with stateful property-based testing that generates and shrinks adversarial login, elevate, rotate and logout sequences.

    TypeScript
  • Real-Time Fraud Detection

A credit card fraud detection pipeline: Spark ML trains models on data held in Cassandra, and a Spark Streaming job classifies Kafka transactions for a live dashboard.

    Scala
  • Real-Time Financial Analysis Trading System

A real-time financial analysis and trading system that processes simulated market data into trading signals and indicators.

  • Recommendation Engine (Spring Boot + Aerospike)

Repository build-a-recommendation-engine-example-with-spring-boot-and-aerospike. A recommendation engine exposed as a RESTful web service with Spring Boot and Aerospike, recommending products from similar users' history.
